ART
Art and design both surround us and share one essential feature: they bring life to a space. Artists and designers use colours and shapes as tools to create the unique works that brighten up homes.
When combined, the subtle poetry of art and the sophistication of design merge into one to create the ideal atmosphere.
Over the last 10 years, beyond being an emotional asset, the financial consideration of art collecting has become more and more important and art is increasingly positioned as a capital asset.
Investing in art is not only good for your portfolio, but it is also an extremely rewarding and emotional experience.
THE GALLERY
Founded in 2022 in Dubai Design District. Natacha and Nicolas Balavoine are coming from South of France where they have been working in the Design industry for 20 years, working with the most prestigious labels and designers. Natacha grew up in an artistic background surrounded by influent artists in Saint-Paul de Vence, France. She studied design and art in Paris. It was natural to come back to her roots by opening A/Gallery.
Passionate about different modes of expression and aesthetics, this enthusiasm translates into identifying and cultivating artists’ careers leaving a lasting impact on contemporary art and culture. The Gallery is now exclusively online.
Through their connections they are able to find the artwork you are looking for, from Picasso ceramics to well known names.
WHY INVEST IN ART
2021 was a tumultuous year in the investment world, with the effects of the global pandemic reaching every market. However, the contemporary art market has shown exceptional resilience, with continued success and record results, despite challenges seen elsewhere.
The Sotheby’s Mei Moses* Index is widely regarded by the industry as a indication of changing demand in the global art market.
Over the past fifty years this index displays an upward trajectory, providing investor confidence in the resilience and progress of the sector as a whole.
